Das Sol de Gracia Appartment liegt im Herzen des Gracia-Viertels. 1820 wurde das ehemals unabhängige Dorf mit Barcelona durch eine Landstrasse namens Passeo de Gracia verbunden. Heute ist diese Strasse die 5th Avenue von Barcelona mit Geschäften aller Art die keine Wünsche offen lassen. Die Graciagegend unterscheidet sich sehr vom Rest des Zentrums Barcelonas. Im Gegensatz zu grossen und breiten Strassen sind diese hier schmall und verwinkelt, auf kleine, gemütliche Plätze mündend wo sich Einheimische zum “Schwätzchen” treffen. Die Hauptplätze sind der Placa Rius i Taulet zufüssen des 1897 errichteten Rathauses mit seiner erstaunlichen Uhr und der nicht weit davon gelegene Placa del Sol. Direkt am Placa del Sol (Platz der Sonne) befindet sich die Wohnung.
Die Hauptatraktion dieses Stadtteils ist der weltberühmte Parc Güell erbaut vom Meisterarchitekten Antonio Gaudi. Die Kombination aus Molderne und städtischem Einfluss gestalltet es sehr interessant hier einen Nachmittage zu verbringen. Gracia ist ein wundervoller Ort um in Barcelona zu verweilen. Es ist belebt und bunt, bietet viele tolle Restaurantes, Bars und Cafés. In weniger als 6 Minuten erreichen Sie die Metrostation “Joanic” oder “Diagonal” von wo aus Sie nicht länger als 3 Minuten bis ins innere Stadtzentrum Ciutat Vella brauchen. Hier sind Sie dann mitten drin im Trubel.
Das Appartment;
This lovely apartment is spacious and decorated in a simple but stylish way. There are 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom comes with a double bed, wardrobe space for your belongings and a private sitting area/dressing room. This bedroom is at the front of the building, but the newly installed double glazing ensures quiet nights.
The second bedroom has 2 single beds and the third bedroom comes with 1 single bed. Both of these bedrooms have ample wardrobe space.
The living area has two sofas where you can sit and relax after a long day sightseeing or shopping.
The kitchen comes completely equipped with microwave, coffee maker, toaster, juicer, etc. to make your stay hassle free. The dining room with table and matching chairs is a great place to plan your excursions or enjoy a meal made from fresh produce bought in one of the many markets. You will also find a TV and DVD for your entertainment.
There is a small terrace (approx 8m2)leading from the kitchen and a small terrace - we would make special reference to this area for any guests who are smokers, as this would be the area to smoke.
The large terrace visible in the first photograph is located on the third floor and must be accessed by stairs outside the apartment, but is exclusively for clients of the Gran de Gracia apartment.
